An Event Apart: The Design Conference For People Who Make Web Sites

An Event Apart is different. Here we will have key copy about AEA's difference from other conferences. Differences such as single track (so everyone is in the same room, learning at the same time) will be emphasized. We'll use words like "concentrated learning session." We'll talk about how our speakers are industry leaders and visionaries, and what visitors take away from an AEA conference that they don't take away from other shows. This copy will rock! It is set in 15/22 Georgia with color #222. (Most text on the site is #333.) BG = #f9f8f3.

In this section we'll talk about who attends An Event Apart–just what kind of people are they? We'll discuss job titles, of course: 40% call themselves designers, 40% call themselves developers, that sort of thing. But we'll do more than that. We'll talk about passionate practitioners–people who want to create great user experiences, want to be better at what they do, don't just punch a clock. Not a lot of copy—just enough for readers to say, "That's me, that's my kind of show" ... and for sponsors to say, "Them's my customers. Those are the people I want to reach."

Past Events

Maybe it isn’t healthy to dwell on the past, but some memories are just too good to let go.
