Erin Kissane

ERIN KISSANE is an editor and content strategist specializing in clear, humane communication with customers and employees. She has written copy, advised on brand and content strategy, and provided editorial oversight for clients ranging from startups to Global 1000 companies, and is currently editorial director at Happy Cog.

As editor of A List Apart magazine, Erin sifts through the web development community's new ideas to identify and promote better ways to publish content and build websites. She edited the second edition of Designing With Web Standards and is gradually taking over all editorial tasks at Happy Cog, including the copyediting of blog comments and grocery lists.

Prior to joining Happy Cog, she contributed to international content management projects and guidelines for Sapient, a business and technology consultancy, and worked as a freelance writer and editor. Before that, she managed web development projects for a small tech firm in Boston.

She has been publishing on the web since Netscape 1.2 was the best browser on the market.
