Jim Coudal

JIM COUDAL is the President of Coudal Partners, a small design/creative studio in Chicago. About half of Coudal Partners' business is client-based. They do a great deal of naming and identity work in the sports and entertainment fields as well as film, print and web development.

The other half of Coudal Partners' work comes from businesses they have created. Jewelboxing sells high-end CD and DVD packaging systems to creative professionals. The Show records, mixes, masters, designs, manufactures, markets and ships limited-edition recordings of specific concert performances by going out on tour with bands like The Pixies and Dead Can Dance.

Coudal Partners also co-created and manages The Deck, a targeted ad network for creative, web and design professionals.

And finally coudal.com, the studio's main site, is an ongoing experiment in design, publishing and commerce that allows the Coudal Partners staff to follow their whims to their logical or illogical conclusions.
