The space

There’s no finer place for a design conference than exquisite Scandinavia House in the quiet Murray Hill neighborhood of New York City (see photos).

Situated blocks from Grand Central Terminal and The New York Public Library (not to mention great parks and fine but affordable restaurants and hotels), the award-winning space is a favored location for design events.

Presentations will take place in Victor Borge Hall. Lunch, catered by Restaurant Aquavit, will be served in Volvo Hall overlooking Park Avenue. Stop by the Scandinavia House gift shop for beautiful Scandinavian design objects and books you can purchase for family members and jealous office mates.

The time

After An Event Apart Philadelphia and An Event Apart Atlanta, attendees told us they wanted more: more depth, more details, more time to ask more questions. So we’re rolling out An Event Apart NYC into two days with more content and more speakers.
