Tantek Çelik Joins An Event Apart NYC Roster

Tantek Çelik, chief technologist at Technorati and co-founder of the microformats movement, has joined the all-star speakers’ lineup of An Event Apart NYC, where he will bring unparalleled insights on microformats and web standards to Code Day, July 11.

Among Tantek’s achievements:

• Contributor to XHTML, CSS 2, CSS 2.1, and CSS 3 specifications
• Lead developer of Tasman rendering engine in IE5/Mac, the first browser to bring serious standards compliance to the masses
